teleFWD! ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website telefwd.com and the teleFWD! automation service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: Email address and display name provided during registration (including when you sign in with Google).
Google Sign-In data: If you choose "Sign in with Google", we receive your Google account email address, display name, and profile photo URL from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
Telegram session data: Encrypted Telegram session strings required to operate the bot on your behalf. We do not store your Telegram password.
Bot configuration: Ad messages, target groups, scheduling settings, and automation preferences you configure in the dashboard.
Payment information: Subscription plan, payment amount, currency, and transaction reference IDs. We do not store full card numbers — payments are processed by Razorpay and PayPal.
Usage data: Activity logs, bot session timestamps, and error logs for service monitoring and debugging.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide, operate, and maintain the teleFWD! service.
To process payments and manage your subscription.
To send transactional emails (welcome message, payment receipts).
To monitor service health and debug issues.
To comply with legal obligations.
3. Google Sign-In and Google User Data
teleFWD! uses Google Sign-In (Firebase Authentication) so you can create and access your account. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data we receive from Google: Your Google account email address, display name, and profile picture URL (if available).
How we use it: Solely to create, authenticate, and manage your teleFWD! account and to send transactional service emails.
What we do not do: We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or allow employees to read it except with your consent, for security purposes, to comply with law, or in aggregated/anonymized form.
Storage: Account identifiers are stored via Firebase Authentication (Google). See Firebase Privacy Policy.
Revoking access: You may delete your account from Profile → Danger Zone in the dashboard, or revoke teleFWD!'s access from your Google Account permissions page.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate teleFWD!:
Razorpay: Payment processing for Indian users (INR) — Privacy Policy
PayPal: Payment processing for international users (USD) — Privacy Policy
Supabase / PostgreSQL: Encrypted database storage for account and subscription data.
These services have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and bot configuration are permanently deleted within 30 days. Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years for accounting and legal compliance.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure database access controls, and encrypted credential storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights
Under applicable law (including India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
We use session cookies solely to maintain your authenticated session on the dashboard. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
9. Children's Privacy
teleFWD! is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via a notice on the dashboard. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
